GrabFood launches ‘Don’t forget to eat’ movement - The Jakarta Post - Jakarta Post

Are you too busy to eat? This should not be the case anymore.

GrabFood, Indonesia’s most frequently used food delivery service, is now helping you rediscover the spirit to make dreams come true, through “Jangan Lupa Makan” (Don’t Forget to Eat) movement.

The movement encourages you to not let a hectic day make you skip a meal, which will energize you in pursuing your hopes and dreams.

Food provides nutrients for the body and mind, and having your meals on time will ensure that the body and mind function properly throughout the day.

Grab Indonesia managing director Neneng Goenadi pointed out the importance of eating your daily meals on schedule.

“Many people think that it doesn’t matter what time to eat, as the important thing is what we eat. It is true, that what we eat has an impact on our health and body, but the timing also has an impact on our health,” she says.

Neneng went on to say that as the new year had just started, and people were resolved to live better lives, GrabFood encouraged everyone to rediscover the lost habit of timely eating through “Jangan Lupa Makan” campaign.

As part of the campaign, GrabFood distributed 10,000 food packages on Friday, to those who dedicate themselves in public services, such as firefighters, police officers, medics, public transportation drivers and cleaning service workers, simultaneously by GrabFood drivers in Jakarta, Bandung, Surabaya, Medan and Makassar.

This initiative, supported by GrabFood partners namely CFC, McDonald’s, Kopi Lain Hati, Carl’s Jr., Wingstop and Nestle Pure Life, has also broken an Indonesian World Records Museum (MURI) record.

“In this new year, we want to appreciate those who help make our day easy,” Neneng says, hoping that the unsung heroes do not forget to eat so that they can stay active, serving from the heart without forgetting their own wellness.

GrabFood delivery partners have been doing their best to provide convenience for the customers, as well as ensuring timely delivery.

An event will be held for the drivers at the end of January in Bandung, Bali, Medan, Makassar, Yogyakarta and Semarang as part of GrabFood’s appreciation for them.

The food delivery app also collaborates with corporate partners to provide food and drinks that users can buy for the drivers. If you are interested in participating in this pilot project, it could be as easily done as ordering your own food and drink from GrabFood. You can find specifically assigned dishes for the drivers at the participating restaurants’ page.

So, for active urbanites who are often too busy to go out and buy their food, there is always GrabFood just a fingertip away to ensure you eat on time.
