Many parts of India are reeling under heat wave conditions, amongst them is the state of West Bengal. The temperature in the state has been soaring to 40 degrees Celsius for the last three days and the government has announced the closure of all schools, colleges and universities for a week from April 17.
Amid such harsh summer conditions, it is tough for people to go out of their homes. A man in West Bengal conducted an experiment at his home that showed how hot the weather is. The vlogger cooked an omelette in a saucepan without using any oil or gas cylinder on the terrace of his home. He posted a video of the experiment on his Facebook account called Puchu Babu.
In the clip, he is seen breaking an egg on a pan that he kept on his terrace in the scorching heat. He said as the pan is black in colour and it absorbs heat, he would see if he can cook an egg without using any oil. As he spread the egg on the pan, it appeared to be cooking perfectly because of the heat. He is heard saying in Bengali, “I am making an omelette for the first time with my own hands using natural sources.”
As he prepared the dish, he didn’t add anything but it seemed to be well-cooked. After tasting it, he said, “The essence of the egg is there. It’s awesome, excellent and very good one indeed.”
