Actor Madhuri Dixit’s husband, Dr Sriram Nene, actively shares videos on his YouTube channel. From sharing tips on health and wellness to talking about their two sons, he does it all. Madhuri often joins him in most of his videos. Recently, the couple shared a healthy Mexican recipe with their fans, and also spoke about their elder son Arin’s love for cooking.
Before sharing the recipe, Madhuri made an attempt at describing the dish in Spanish, as Dr Nene corrected her pronunciation. She called the dish, “muy muy bueno,” which translates to “very very good” in English. Dr Nene corrected her on how she pronounced the Spanish words, and also called the dish “tan sabroso,” meaning “so tasty”.
Later in the video, Dr Nene shared that their elder son Arin has developed a ‘passion’ for cooking. Mentioning how his children love his food, he added, “But the older guy (Arin) is also getting pretty good at college. He sends me some of the pictures and recipes. I think he has not only learned it but has also gotten a passion for it.”
Arin is currently studying in the University of Southern California in the US. In an earlier video, he had shared how he prefers cooking over ordering in food, as the delivery fees is quite high in the area that he lives.
On being asked by his mother about how he manages his meals, he had told her, “Regarding food, that has been challenging. I just went from going to dining to the hall to cooking my own food, which is a blessing and curse. I find myself not having enough time to cook for myself so only then do I need to order in. Ordering is not the best move because their delivery fee is just a bit ridiculous. Cooking for myself has been great. It gives me the opportunity to experiment and come up with recipes that I really enjoy.”
