GEORGE, Wash. — A person is in custody after a shooting took place at the Gorge Amphitheater campground Saturday evening.
Grant County Sheriff’s Office (GCSO) received reports of a shooter at the campgrounds near Gorge at 8:25 p.m. GCSO revealed the shooter was in custody on their Facebook page a little after 9:15 p.m. As of 10:18 p.m., GCSO says there is no risk to the public or concert area.
Police say two people were killed as a result of the shooting, and three others were injured. Information about those victims has yet to be released.
Officials with "Beyond Wonderland" announced via social media posts that day two of the festival would be canceled.
