HUDSON, Ohio – Akron chef Dannika Stevenson is scheduled to hold a free live virtual cooking program, New Orleans Cooking: Dessert Edition, via the Hudson Library and Historical Society.
The program is 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 29.
Stevenson – who owns Akron-based SipSavorSoul - will demonstrate how to make New Orleans-themed desserts, including beignets, the square-cut fried French doughnuts.
Stevenson launched Sip.Savor.Soul. for catering and private chef services, and two years later added culinary instruction and nutrition education.
She has worked in assorted culinary roles and was runner-up in the vegetarian recipe category for Taste of Home Magazine.
