Our friend Chef Cal from Bruno’s of Brooklyn cooked up a few delicious and easy dishes featuring figs that you can recreate at home.
The first dish was a ricotta and fig appetizer. The dish incorporates two different types of ricotta cheese, mascarpone, and heavy cream as well as fresh figs and honey.
The appetizer, which has very minimal prep, could even double as a dessert because of the sweetness from the figs and honey.
The second dish that Chef Cal made was a creamy prosciutto and fig pasta that incorporates heavy cream, garlic and caramelized figs into a quick and easy meal.
