Blue Zone cooking class draws over 100 - Port Clinton News Herald

A Blue Zone cooking class on Catawba Island had 111 registers students eager to learn on Sept. 22.

Rose Sabin of Root to Rise Wellness Cafe and Donna Smith of Twin Oast and Quinstock Farm sponsored the class. Sabin and Smith also own Gideon Owen Wine Co., in Port Clinton.

The class concentrated on the five regions of the world where diet and lifestyle have resulted in longevity. The class included hands on training, dinner, wine pairings and recipes to take home.
