Bake Off's Prue Leith hops to ITV for brand new cooking show - Digital Spy

The Great British Bake Off judge Prue Leith is heading over to ITV to debut a brand new cooking show.

Titled Prue Leith's Cotswold Kitchen, the new series will air on Saturday mornings on ITV1 and ITVX in February 2024.

The ten-part series, which is set in Prue's own Cotswolds home kitchen, will see Prue cooking up some of her favourite dishes from mid-week meals to dinner party treats and, of course, desserts.

Described as "more than a cookery show", Prue will enlist her husband John to share their kitchen hacks and short-cuts with viewers including how to grow and harvest fruit and vegetables.

"In each episode, Prue will invite a special guest into her home kitchen to cook and share one of their own favourite recipes. As they sit down to enjoy the dish around the family table, they will 'chew the fat' on everyday issues that may be especially pertinent to them," reads the official description.

During the series, Prue will showcase a number of products from Food Heroes and entrepreneurs from the UK who make delicious products for Prue and John to enjoy.

"All in all Prue's Cotswold Kitchen is about the things that matter to me in my dotage: family, friends, home, farm and food. And I'm such an egotist, I'm looking forward to sharing them all with the world," said Prue.

Leanne Clarke, ITV Entertainment added: "I am thrilled for us to be invited into Prue Leith's Cotswold kitchen for an ITV1 Daytime first! Having the legend that is Dame Prue Leith on our screens from her own home every Saturday morning, sharing never before heard anecdotes and many of her all-time favourite recipes is a real treat that will show the culinary icon in a whole new light. Let's get cooking!"

Prue Leith's Cotswold Kitchen airs on ITV1 and ITVX from February 2024.
