Learn how to create the classic French dish ratatouille during a free cooking class hosted at 2 p.m., Sept. 3, at Mentor Public Library’s Main Branch, 8215 Mentor Ave.

LaDonna Oltmanns from Let’s Cook will demonstrate how to make ratatouille using eggplant, zucchini, tomato, onions and peppers. The result is low in calorie and carbohydrates but high in flavor, according to a news release.

Let’s Cook is a plant-based, mobile cooking school that offers classes on basic cooking skills.

This program is free to attend, but due to limited space, registration is required. Sign up at www.mentorpl.org or by calling the library at 440-255-8811, ext. 1.
