Want to try a kids cooking subscription box? Here's why we love them - Dallas News

In addition to Raddish Kids, there are other cooking subscriptions that cater to kids, like Kidstir, Foodstirs and Baketivity, and all are in the $18-$25 price range per month.

With Raddish, a chef-curated box is developed every month that includes three illustrated recipe booklets, one kitchen tool, information on other tools needed, a culinary skills lesson, a history lesson that goes with the theme of the box, and a tabletop game for the whole family. There is no actual food in the box, but the cards include an easy ingredient list. Plus, there's no expiration date and lessons can be used more than once. Single kits can also be purchased without a subscription.

We've tried the granola bars, strawberry shortcake and "farmhouse flatbread." All came with easy recipes and few ingredients, and were incredibly tasty. And while the recipes are created with kids in mind, it's also a great way for adults to get started cooking as well.
